Welfare

Welfare – This is something which is known to almost everyone but there are two common mistakes in interpreting it’s definition. One it is considered to be a favor to someone and secondly money is considered to be the only medium through which you can do welfare. In my opinion, welfare is not doing a favor to anyone, there may be several moments in our lives when we desperately need someone to listen us or someone to be at our side or someone who can just give us a tight hug but we couldn’t find that one person to do that for us. Welfare is a way to be that person for someone who is in need and by doing something for someone we actually compensate what we missed deeply. Secondly money is although the strongest but not the only medium through which you can do welfare, standing for someone, giving a pat on back and motivating someone that he or she can do, giving a hug or even making someone smile is also welfare. Humans are not humans because of anything but deeds and it’s our deeds that will count, we will be remembered by what we have done and not what we were. For example, very commonly said words at a funeral, “BOHOT AMEER AADMI THA LEKIN BOHOT HI KANJUS THA YA PHIR BOHOT GHAREEB THA LEKIN BOHOT NARAM DIL AUR SAKHI THA” . As evident in both the sentences, adjectives have taken over the noun and adjectives were because of the verb. Think, you may disagree with my definition of welfare but don’t disagree with the welfare, do something …. Choose a better adjective for you……….
